The white shirt has always been a wardrobe constant. It is the piece worn for first interviews, important meetings, family occasions and everyday routines. But behind something so familiar is a simple problem many men know well: finding one that actually fits.

For Singapore’s 61st birthday, DETERMINANT is putting that conversation at the centre of its SG61 Shirts for every BODY campaign, celebrating the individuality of Singaporean men through something often overlooked: precision sizing.

The idea is straightforward. No two bodies, careers or journeys look exactly the same, so why should shirts be designed around a limited set of standard measurements?

At the heart of the campaign is DETERMINANT’s approach to fit, offering 61 precision size combinations by pairing collar and sleeve measurements. Instead of asking men to adjust themselves around a shirt, the brand has built its shirts around the wearer.

That distinction matters.

The campaign reflects a broader shift in menswear. Today’s modern man is no longer defined by a single uniform. He could be an entrepreneur building a business, a banker navigating corporate life, a teacher shaping young minds, a father balancing responsibilities, or a creative pursuing something entirely different.

The common thread is not what he does. It is how he wants to show up.

DETERMINANT approaches the everyday shirt with the same mindset. Made from 100% premium extra-long staple cotton, the shirts combine comfort with performance-driven details including wrinkle-free technology, Repel+, VISDRY™ and InstantCool, designed to move between Singapore’s humid weather and heavily air-conditioned spaces.

Because looking polished should not require constant effort.

That philosophy has become increasingly relevant as wardrobes become more practical. The modern professional does not just want clothes that look good hanging in a wardrobe. He wants pieces that can keep pace with meetings, commutes, family commitments and everything in between.

For DETERMINANT, good design is about removing unnecessary friction. When a shirt fits properly and requires less maintenance, it gives the wearer more time to focus on the things that matter.

The SG61 Shirts for every BODY campaign will come to life through a week-long pop-up at CIMB Plaza from 17 to 23 August, where visitors can experience the brand’s precision sizing approach and explore its collection of shirts, polos and T-shirts.

The pop-up will also offer complimentary customised embroidery with every dress shirt purchase, a three-shirt Essential bundle at S$198, and selected dress shirts at S$61 while stocks last.

As Singapore celebrates another year of progress, DETERMINANT’s message is less about the shirt itself and more about the people wearing it.

A nation is not built by identical individuals. It is shaped by different ambitions, different paths and different stories.

Sometimes, the right fit starts with recognising that there is no single way to define one.
